Process to CrossFit 859 membership:
1. Book a free consultation
Once you’ve decided you want to get into the best shape of your life and be a part of a supportive fitness community, it’s time to book a Student Consultation/Intro to CrossFit 859. Do it alone or bring a friend along to your 60-minute free intro session where you’ll get started by first meeting your personal coach.
Your coach will explain our fitness methodology, as well as CrossFit 859’s application of functional fitness. Based on your goals, your coach will then determine your fitness strengths and limitations and evaluate your current level of fitness. You will be introduced to our approach as it applies to workouts, diet, and overall approach to health, and the session will conclude with a workout. In this session we will explain how CrossFit methods can be personalized to you, and how our program can be successful for individuals at any fitness level.

2. Enroll in our Elements Course
Our Elements Course is designed to be a personalized experience, tailored to your schedule, that will make a huge impact on your life. Elements is a personal training program that is very different than group aerobics, bootcamp, or any other group exercise class.
Before joining in with CrossFit 859’s group classes, the Elements Course is designed to ensure that you are both competent in the movements that are used and fit enough to safely join group classes. To do this, we use established physical benchmarks, and you and your coach will monitor your fitness progress.
With that in mind, you will start off by completing at least 9 one-on-one or two-on-one private training sessions, where you will be coached by an instructor. Our instructors are some of the best and well-educated coaches in central Kentucky.
During your personal training sessions (the number depends on your personal fitness level and physical abilities), you will become familiar with the technical movements utilized in CrossFit (30-40 of them!). These movements include those used in Olympic weightlifting, power lifting, gymnastics and rowing. You will also learn about mobility, injury prevention, and nutrition to give you a personalized, comprehensive fitness plan that will meet and exceed your goals.

3. Group CrossFit Classes
Once you’re competent in the functional fitness movements and reach our graduation requirements, you will be ready to begin group CrossFit classes.
During the group classes, you’ll push yourself and sweat it out with the members of our incredible community, as you compete with yourself (and others, if you choose) for rounds, time, points, glory, emotional satisfaction and spiritual growth. You will reach new physical and emotional levels you didn’t think were possible, and you will undoubtedly find yourself with a new social and support network, one that will help you on your continued path to greater health and happiness.
